Troubleshoot and repair all plant instrumentation.
Troubleshoot and repair Control and Electrical systems. (PLCs, transmitters, control wiring, MCCs, Soft Starters, VFD's etc..).
Troubleshoot and repair control/communication networks within plant (Ethernet I/P, Network Switches, Fiber Optics, Ethernet and Serial Radio networks)
Work Safely around instrumentation and electrical systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Understanding of basic plant and gas well operations
Must have a valid driver's license
Basic understanding of control valves, positioners, PLC's and VFD's is a plus but not required.
Basic understanding of wired and wireless communications is a plus but not required.
Basic understanding of electrical circuits.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows based computers and related software including, but not limited to, Outlook, Excel, Word
Knowledge of control valves, positioners and control loops
Knowledge of Ethernet Radio and Serial Radio networks.
Solid understanding of low and medium voltage electrical equipment such as switch gears, Variable Frequency Drives, lighting contractors, and 24 volt DCE control circuits
Computer Skills: Microsoft Word and Excel
Willing to work overtime when necessary (not guaranteed).
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must be enrolled in apprenticeship schooling and obtain first year Wyoming Electrical Apprentice license within 30 days of hiring date.
Must complete state required apprenticeship schooling and advance Wyoming Electrical Apprentice license yearly.
