This Position Is Responsible For:
Teaching appropriate graduate- and undergraduate-level courses
Holding 10 office hours per week and be accessible to students
Participating in the development of policies, curriculum, and assessment of the program, as well as, advising students and serving on departmental and university committees.
Assisting in maintaining accreditation data and strategic plan data
Completing annual state reports
Overseeing program requirements in both undergraduate and graduate programs
Our Ideal Candidate’s Education and Experience:
A doctoral degree in Education or closely related field is preferred.
A well-qualified candidate with doctoral work or a master’s degree may be considered.
Experience teaching The Science of Reading at the elementary level is required
Preference will be given to candidates who have training and have implemented trauma-informed and trauma-responsive practices in their teaching.
