Job Title: Production Supervisor - Night Shift (Meriden, CT)

Solventum Purification & Filtration business

We are pleased to announce that Solventum has entered into a definitive agreement to sell our Purification & Filtration business to Thermo Fisher Scientific. This transaction is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, receipt of regulatory approvals, and country specific information and consultation needs where required. This is a significant milestone for the P&F business and will allow for the strategic investment and resources needed for sustaining growth and delivering customer solutions. The Impact You'll Make in this Role
The person hired for the position of Production Supervisor will provide supervisory support for manufacturing operations and is responsible for driving safety, quality, service, productivity, and employee engagement The position will support to expand supervisory coverage for 24/7 crewing, including weekend coverage. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Ensuring a safe working environment through modeling safe behaviors, leading audits/inspections, correcting unsafe behaviors, conducting safety meetings, and utilizing proper work methods, procedures and equipment


• Providing supervision to production and/or hourly employees.


• Work cross-functionally with site support teams (EHS, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Production Planning)


• Handling shift administrative activities such as time/absence reporting, attendance control, vacation planning, overtime, training, etc.


• Planning daily work schedules, prioritizing, allocating work assignments, and regulating production processes to meet specific daily production requirements


• Encouraging continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality and spending

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Possess a bachelor's degree or higher AND (1) year of plant manufacturing experience

• High School Diploma/GED AND (5) years of plant manufacturing experience

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• One year of supervisory or leadership experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Advanced supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software Tools


• Experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing (cGMP, ISO 13485)


• Ability to drive and influence change and lead cross functional teams


• Training and/or experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing


• Experience working in a union environment


• Experience working with hazardous materials


• Experience leading cross functional teams

Work location: Onsite - Meriden, CT

Shift: Nights 11pm-7am

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $82,370 - $100,675, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
