The Credit Supervisor will report to the Manager of Treasury and Finance and will play a key role in ONE Gas' credit and financial risk management efforts. The supervisor will be actively involved in the development of credit risk management strategies, conducting credit analysis and decision-making processes. Specifically, the supervisor will assist in credit reporting, account monitoring, and financial analysis, while preparing detailed reports and summaries for internal stakeholders and key decision-makers. This role requires collaboration with internal teams, participation in meetings, and providing ongoing research and insights into industry trends and regulatory changes impacting credit policies.


What You Will Do


Develop credit risk management strategies and procedures and supervise employees in activities related to Credit Risk Management, Credit Modeling, Treasury/Finance, Financial Analysis and Reporting.


Oversee and perform responsibilities related to the preparation of information and reports which may include:



  • Develop and maintain credit risk management strategies

  • Customer credit review and analysis

  • Maintain credit risk management policy

  • Collateral analysis

  • Manage customer credit files

  • Assess creditworthiness of potential customers

  • Evaluate financial risk, establish credit terms and limits

  • Financial and credit score modeling

  • Accounting reports


Provide guidance and direction relative to:



  • Credit Risk Management

  • Credit and Financial Modeling

  • Treasury/Finance

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting processes to employees, supervisors, management, industry peers and others.


Perform calculations, review, analyze, interpret and/or monitor information and reports including but not limited to:



  • Credit reports

  • Bank and trade references

  • Utility tariffs

  • Government reports

  • SEC/IRS/FASB guidance

  • Training analysis

  • Policies and procedures revisions and recommendations

  • Financial ratios

  • Credit analysis (third party financials)

  • Accounting reports


Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.


Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.


What You Will Need


Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, Finance, Economics or other related field


Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis, credit risk management or related field.


Thorough knowledge, experience administering and interpreting of policies, procedures and practices related to credit risk management, accounting methods and/or finance


Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including using computer applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.


Apply math, algebra and basic statistics.


Experience training, directing, and supervising; demonstrated ability to apply personnel policies and procedures.


Experience reading and interpreting manuals, credit reports, financial statements, bank and trade references governmental rules, and regulations, contracts, correspondence, and account information.


Experience researching, composing, and preparing credit reports, financial information, and correspondence.


Experience leading, directing, and supervising; interacting, advising, training, and communicating effectively.


Experience developing information and making presentations to groups and individuals.


Knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.


Read and write fluently in English.


Applicable driver's license


Requires travel to other company offices and facilities and to job sites.


CPA, CBA, CBF, CCE, or other relevant certification.


Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around job sites out-of-doors.


Communicate and exchange verbal and written information and instructions; conduct oral presentations.


Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.
