Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain software to test our products and applications.


• Define and implement automation strategies, test cases, and tools for unit, functional, and performance testing.


• Participate in design and code inspections to identify issues and propose improvements.


• Work closely with multiple teams to ensure end-to-end quality of major deliverables.


• Integrate tests and infrastructure automation into the CI/CD pipeline.


• Collaborate with agile development teams to follow 12 Factor application development principles.


• Communicate effectively with peers, business analysts, and subject matter experts.

Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in IT with expertise in test automation from UI and API layers.


• Proficient in writing and maintaining automated tests using Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, and open-source testing libraries like Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured.


• Experience with OOP languages (Java, C#) and scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell, Bash).


• Knowledge of API and Microservices testing and automation.


• Experience with TDD and BDD frameworks like Cucumber, JBehave.


• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.


• Experience deploying applications in AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes).


• Proficient in using CI tools like Jenkins, Circle CI, and source code management tools like GitLab, GitHub.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in distributed agile teams.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge and experience with the Travel Industry.


• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Docker, Chef, Puppet, Terraform.


• Proficiency in various AWS cloud services.


• Experience with virtualizing services for test automation.


• Familiarity with test management and agile tools like VersionOne, qTest.


• Experience with non-functional testing such as performance, load, stress, security, accessibility, and usability testing.
