Job Description:

The Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX) invites applications for an open tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Marketing, with an anticipated start date of August 2026 or sooner. The position is open to hires at the assistant and advanced assistant levels. Research focus is open. Both salary and teaching load are competitive, as is support for research and instruction. The duration of the initial appointment is up to five years and may be renewed based on performance.

The Department of Marketing seeks an individual who works well and desires to participate in a collegial, research-oriented department.

Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in Marketing or related field by the start of employment.

Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated potential to publish in top-tier journals. Evidence of teaching effectiveness.
