Job Title: Director Global Supply Network Strategy and Operations




Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)




Job Description



The Director Global Supply Network Strategy and Operations. will be responsible leading the Supply Point Process and resulting evaluations at Galderma considering all strategic / functional inputs. In addition, the job holder will be responsible for driving / following up on key network evaluations/decisions for Internal sites & External network. The senior global strategic manager will be part of the Global Network Strategy & ESO LT as well as the Global Product Operation`s team.



Key Responsibilities



  • Own the Galderma Supply Point Process and Lead Supply Point Committee

  • Lead, beside others Supply Point Evaluations

  • Build up & owns capacity calculation at sites used as basis for strategic investments linked to yearly MRP figures.

  • Driving, following up strategic evaluations/decisions linked to new sites, site extensions, External Network (C(D)MOS and business continuity needs.

  • Drive/Lead Global Strategic Initiatives regarding manufacturing network

  • Preparing regular Network Strategy updates to Executive Committee, Board and other key governance bodies.

  • Drive for process optimization`s using operational excellence tools and mindset.

  • Liaises efficiently with key functions inside and outside Operations (i.e., GPO, GPS, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Sites, CMOs, BD&L, Galderma Regions)




Skills & Qualifications




  • Scientific/engineering degree (Bachelors, Master or PhD) with NLT 10 years of experience in industry of medical devices, pharma, cosmetics manufacturing and packaging is a MUST.

  • Ideally additional business background (MBA) and/or relevant experience from Consulting Companies (2-5 years)

  • Familiar with strategic evaluations / due diligence considering all relevant functions.


  • Familiar with industry relevant guidelines, regulatory agencies, GMP

  • Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills

  • Has worked within global organizations.
