What You Will Contribute:




The Sales Support Representative is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer account data, including vendor registrations, certificates of insurance distribution, license and tax certificate maintenance, and more. The representative communicates directly with customers (via phone calls) to update and verify contact and account information. The representative also provides logistical support for proposals, order processing, reporting, and sales data management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proficient in managing databases, and experienced in Salesforce CRM.


Key Responsibilities:


Customer Account Data Management:


  • Ensure customer account records are accurate and up to date, including vendor registrations, contact details, contact roles, billing and shipping information, and account status.

  • Maintain and track licenses, tax certificates, and other compliance-related documents.

  • Coordinate with customers and internal teams to update and verify account information as needed. This task will require making phone calls.

  • Ensure data consistency across multiple platforms (CRM, ERP, and company website).



Order Processing and Logistics Support:


  • Assist with order entry, validation, and processing to ensure timely fulfillment.

  • Work with internal departments (e.g., finance, supply chain, customer service) to resolve order discrepancies or issues.

  • Support the sales team with quote generation, contract documentation, and pricing approvals.

  • Track order status and provide updates to sales representatives and customers as needed.



Reporting and Sales Data Management:


  • Generate and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.

  • Support database maintenance to ensure sales data integrity and consistency.

  • Provide ad hoc data analysis and reporting to support business decisions.



Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, order processing, or data management.

  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience in ERP is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
