Our client is seeking a highly skilled and organized Welding and Fabrication Coordinator to join our large engineering and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding and fabrication environments and possess strong organizational and leadership skills. This role involves coordinating projects across all manufacturing departments, both in the office and on the plant floor.



Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee welding and fabrication projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards.


• Collaborate with various departments to coordinate and support manufacturing activities.


• Assist in maintenance planning and scheduling.


• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.


• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.


• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.


• Utilize Microsoft systems and software for project management and reporting.
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a welder or in a welding and fabrication manufacturing environment.


• Strongly preferred experience with lean manufacturing, application, machining, or industrial painting.


• AWS certification is a significant advantage.


• Previous experience in maintenance planning and/or leadership roles such as lead or supervisor is a plus.


• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft systems (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial painting and machining.


• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.


• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
