Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer



Location: Manassas (Onsite 2+ days per week, starting day one)



Client: Direct Client in Financial Services



Job Summary: Join our financial services client as a DevSecOps Engineer, where you'll enhance security practices within the development lifecycle and drive efficiency through automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security at every stage of product development.



Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage DevSecOps pipelines with integrated security tools.
  
  


• Automate security tasks with scripting (Python, Bash and Groovy).
  
  


• Integrate SAST and DAST into build pipelines for early vulnerability detection.
  
  


• Stay updated on industry security standards and regulations.
  
  


• Train developers on secure coding practices to promote a culture of security.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  
  


• Proven expertise in DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD tools (Cloudbees CI, Ansible, Nexus).
  
  


• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Groovy.
  
  


• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift).
  
  


• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.
