Job Title: Infrastructure Engineering Consultant



Overview: Join our Innovation Labs engineering team to leverage your hands-on technical expertise in Infrastructure Engineering. You will contribute to complex initiatives, resolve technical challenges, and ensure the stability and compliance of our systems and environments.



Responsibilities:

• 
  Technical Engineering: Utilize your technical knowledge to engineer, operate, and support lab systems and platforms, delivering meaningful solutions to internal customers.
• 
  Problem Solving: Apply exceptional problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues and organizational needs.
• 
  System Stability: Ensure continuous uptime, stability, and compliance across all Innovation Labs systems and environments.
• 
  Automation: Develop and use scripting and infrastructure as code to automate support for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures.
• 
  Security: Implement security best practices and zero trust principles across all lab systems and platforms.
• 
  Collaboration: Work with project managers and development partners to ensure effective delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of internal applications.

Qualifications:

• 
  Experience: 4+ years in Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions, demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• 
  Technical Skills: Proven expertise in configuring, maintaining, supporting, troubleshooting, and problem-solving in core Infrastructure domains (Compute, Storage, Networking, Virtualization).
• 
  Operating Systems: Experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2019, 2022), Windows 10/11, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (8, 9).
• 
  Domain Services: Advanced experience with Microsoft Domain Services (Active Directory, Group Policy, System Center, Windows DNS).
• 
  Virtualization: Operational knowledge of VMware vSphere Suite and VMware NSX.
• 
  Automation: Proficiency in scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, PowerShell, BASH).
• 
  Cloud Platforms: Administration and engineering experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform, including hybrid connectivity and tenant-level management.
• 
  Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 75+ lbs with assistance, work within server rooms, and navigate above server racks or below sub-floors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  Red Hat Satellite: Experience in administering and configuring Red Hat Satellite.
• 
  API Endpoints: Experience with creating and using API endpoints.
• 
  Certifications: Engineering certifications in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• 
  OpenShift: Experience with OpenShift and OpenShift Container Service.
• 
  Programming: Proficiency in C# or other higher-level object-oriented languages.
