Summary of Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated ASIC Technical Program Manager to drive the end-to-end execution of complex ASIC programs. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams spanning ASIC design, CAD, packaging, test development, product engineering, and external ecosystem partners to ensure timely and high-quality ASIC development. Experience in ASIC design and working with key industry partners, including IP vendors, EDA tool providers, design services, and OSATs, is essential. Automotive functional safety experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Execution: Drive ASIC program execution from concept to production, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with ASIC design, CAD, verification, physical design, DFT, packaging, test engineering, and product engineering teams to ensure seamless execution.
Ecosystem Management: Collaborate with IP vendors, EDA tool providers, design services firms, and OSAT partners to optimize workflows, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.
Schedule & Risk Management: Develop and maintain program schedules, identify risks, and proactively drive mitigations to keep projects on track.
Technical Leadership: Leverage ASIC design knowledge to facilitate technical discussions, resolve challenges, and guide teams toward successful execution.
Automotive Compliance (Preferred): Work with teams to meet automotive functional safety (ISO 26262) and quality requirements for ASIC development.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and concise updates to executives, engineering teams, and external partners, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in ASIC development, including 3+ years in program or project management.
