Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Practice Technology Specialist focusing on computational design to join the firm as part of our Information Technology team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities

This position will provide guidance to the firm’s designers throughout the preliminary design, design development, construction documentation, construction administration and project closeout phases for a wide range of project types including aviation, corporate, data centers, education, healthcare, multi-family and interior design studios.

This position will join our Practice Technology Group and proactively develop and implement best practices and workflows for all Corgan Offices with a primary focus on computational design-based solutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing BIM leadership and mentoring to staff of all levels and will develop strong business relationships and enhance day-to-day operations in the firm by being a conscientious, dependable, organized and detail-oriented team player.

  • Develop and maintain add-ins for Revit
  • Develop and maintain project-specific and firm-wide Python scripts
  • Develop and maintain project-specific and firm-wide Grasshopper scripts
  • Develop and maintain project-specific and firm-wide Dynamo graphs
  • Practice Technology related Research and Development
  • Integration of REVIT and Rhino with other applications
  • Establishing and supporting workflows related to:
  • BIM & Digital Project Delivery
  • Visualization
  • Reality Capture
  • Sustainability and building performance data workflows
  • Construction Administration
  • Develop and perform computational design and BIM related training sessions across the firm
  • Develop and maintain UI/UX, matching company brand standards


Qualifications

  • Architectural or Interior Design Degree plus 4+ years of experience in professional environment
  • Experience coding with C# or Python (preferred).
  • Experience creating add-ins for Autodesk REVIT
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud integration experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency with parametric design through Grasshopper, Rhino Inside and Dynamo
  • Experience with sustainability analysis tools preferred
  • Experience with generative design, Performance driven design optimization and data visualization
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or other Git based version control (preferred)
