Overview
Sev1Tech is searching for a Program Manager with experience in finance management. The Program Manager will support the planning, implementation, operation, and improvement of meshONE-Terrestrial (T), a scalable, resilient, cybersecure data transport network supporting United States Space Force (USSF) and Air Force (USAF) missions.
meshONET is the ground component of the larger meshONE concept and will eventually integrate with the Air and Space components of meshONE to provide an endtoend network solution across all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains.
Overview/Job responsibilities:
Supervises and directs program cost analysts supporting the meshONE-T program, in accordance with existing procedures, applicable laws, and government requirements.
Oversees the effective financial management of meshONE-T program execution and planning activities, while coordinating with other meshONE-T program managers, and presents financial and program information at the quarterly PMRs with the customer.
Manages the development of program proposal cost strategies for recurring complex contract modifications while collaborating with network architects, network engineers, IT specialists, cybersecurity engineers, software engineers, systems engineers, and systems administrators.
Provides financial and program management expertise and advisement to the meshONE-T Executive Program Manager and participates in a collaborative process to optimize program cost/schedule/performance and to maximize program growth.
Determines financial outcomes of new and revised contract requirements levied by the government customer.
Coordinates with government customers to identify growth opportunities and align financial expectations with potential technical capabilities and/or improvements.
Develops and interprets financial and program management policies and provides authoritative advice to Space Systems Command (SSC) leadership, resulting in the formulation and execution of comprehensive programs that meet mission objectives.
Assures compliance of program activities with laws, regulations, and contract articles.
Responsibilities
Minimum of eight (8) years of financial management experience
PMP certification, ideally from the PMBOK PMI Institute
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Management Information Systems, or other similar degree; without the Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years will be required
