The UTHealth Houston's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences' Center of Excellence on Mood Disorders is looking for a strong candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to recruit, see subjects, and manage regulatory and scheduling aspects of a clinical research study, The Texas Youth Depression and Suicide Research Network (Tx-YDSRN) . The position will focus on research working with children and families with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and suicidality.
Under general direction of senior research staff, this candidate will conduct activities to support research projects and exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices. The ideal candidate will be an independent problem-solver with GCP and IRB/IEC regulatory experience as well as strong written and oral communication skills. This is a full-time onsite position with a minimum two-year commitment, working in a fast-paced lab with a large group at the UTHealth Houston Department of Psychiatry inpatient and outpatient facilities.

Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds constantly and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
This position may include work involving potentially hazardous chemical, biological or radioactive agents.
