Responsibilities
Responsible for facilitating telehealth specialty care consults in Legacy inpatient settings, including appointment scheduling, equipment management and transport as well as assisting virtual providers with patients at the bedside as needed. Apply knowledge of downtime procedures, telehealth policy and software/hardware systems to daily operations.
Qualifications
Education:
Associates Degree or equivalent preferred
Experience:
At least 2 years of hospital operations experience working with providers and nursing staff. Experience in successful collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Experience specific to healthcare environments preferred. Knowledge of current computer systems used within Legacy Health is preferred.
Skills
Ability to problem-solve and prioritize multiple projects.
Ability to handle multiple demands and to respond to rapidly changing priorities.
Independent judgment skills to effectively make appropriate decisions related to the position.
Experience in working with community providers in a professional setting.
Organizational skills that demonstrate ability to both function independently and work closely with others in the organization.
Basic knowledge of operations and patient flow in the inpatient setting.
