Job Title: Construction Superintendent - Federal/Civic Projects
Location: PBC/Broward County
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects for ground up civic/federal projects.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and government officials.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and records.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, particularly with federal/civic projects like fire stations, police stations, government buildings, libraries, and recreational facilities.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
