Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Supply Chain Intern in the Huntington, IN facility starting in May through August of 2025. This position is On-site so the ideal candidate will be located in the general area. This will be a full-time position. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

What do you get to do in this "Supply Chain Intern" position?


  • Follow existing processes and procedures to ensure daily execution of operating standards and service level agreements.

  • Clarify technical details, gather/analyze data and create/modify presentations

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on projects and solutions dedicated to customer service and delivery

  • Drive improvements through Industrial solutions in compliance with the Schneider Production System (SPS) lean principles and conform to safety standards

  • Work closely with Production Schedulers on process improvement, troubleshooting, and root causing

  • Assist in maintaining master data, replenishment strategy and safety stock monthly

  • Assist in the development of supplier quick ship programs

  • Follow up with suppliers on outstanding purchase orders and communicate the status to Supply Chain and Production teams

  • Request purchase order updates and input to the MRP system to ensure that the information is current and accurate


This job might be for you if:


  • Working towards Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related bachelor's degree

  • You are a rising junior, senior, master's student, or recent undergraduate/graduate in a business related major

  • Have some experience with PPT, Excel, Access, and Tableau

  • Possess leadership qualities and the ability to resolve conflicts

  • Are self-motivated and self-directed with a sense of urgency

  • Have a solid work ethic - honors responsibility and commitment

  • Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  • Possess excellent communication and team collaboration skills (English language)
