Overview


The Senior Paid Digital Advertising Manager leads the strategy, execution, and ongoing management of Humanscale’s paid digital advertising campaigns including paid search, paid social, display, and retargeting efforts. With focus on driving brand awareness and maximizing ROAS, the Paid Digital Advertising Manager oversees the full campaign lifecycle from development to performance optimization. Additionally, integrate digital strategies such as organic search to create a cohesive digital marketing approach that enhances the effectiveness of paid advertising.


Responsibilities


  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive paid digital advertising strategies across ad platforms, including paid search, paid social, display advertising, retargeting, and more to achieve business objectives, drive brand awareness, and maximize ROI.
  • Setup, manage, and optimize digital advertising campaigns, ensuring alignment with budget, brand goals, and target KPIs.
  • Manage and allocate budgets for all paid advertising efforts, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize performance across multiple ad platforms and channels.
  • Develop and implement bid strategies, adjusting for seasonality and marketing trends, competition, business objectives, and campaign performance to drive optimal results with retaining efficiency.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of ad performance tracking and analytics, ensuring proper integration with Google Analytics, accurate Google Tag Manager setup, as well as additional tools for data collection, ad optimization, and ongoing reporting.
  • Analyze ad platform, campaign, and ad level data and performance metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct ongoing A/B testing and ad experimentation including but not limiting to ad creative, copy, landing pages, audience targeting, and more to achieve digital advertising goals and maximize effectiveness.
  • Develop and lead ongoing paid digital advertising performance, distilling complex data to generate reporting with actionable insights to drive new ad creative, refine targeting strategies, and implement ongoing optimizations.
  • Remain forward-looking on advertising platform changes, policy and regulation updates, consumer behavior, and more to maintain campaign integrity and retain competitiveness through new features and best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative and Digital teams to generate ad creative and ensure paid search strategy alignment with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Remain forward-looking on Google platform changes and consumer behavior trends, continuously refining strategies and leading technology updates to leverage new features and best practices.
  • Lead technical implementation requirements for Google Ads optimizations including pixel tracking, event setup, conversion data measurement, and more in collaboration with the Digital team.
  • Ensure proper tagging and tracking across campaigns to ensure performance is measured accurately, including working with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.

Qualifications


  • 5+ years of paid digital advertising experience including hands-on execution and management of paid search and paid social campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or equivalent experience.
  • Direct experience with paid search platforms including Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Deep digital marketing knowledge including cross channel performance tactics.
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven approach to testing, performance optimization, and ROI measurement.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong proficiency in synthesizing data into actionable insights and adjust campaigns in real-time based on performance.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with proven ability to mentor and develop direct reports.
  • Strong follow through with enthusiasm to be hands-on.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with programmatic advertising and emerging advertising channels a plus.
  • Strong team player and self-starter, with the ability to lead initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Expert in ad platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Display Network, Youtube Ads, Criteo, and more.
  • Strong understanding of technical implementation for ad tracking and data analytics including conversion tracking, datalayer requirements, pixel management, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Expert with tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, Search Ads 360, or similar reporting tools.
  • Expert with Microsoft Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of SQL and JavaScript a plus.

Salary Range: $108,701-$158,551
