Overview
The Manager, Data Science is responsible for independently owning the end to end analysis workflow, starting from understanding the business problem, translating it to an analytics solution, writing complex SQL code to gather data accurately from across multiple massive data sets, building advanced ML models like XgBoost, Random Forest, K-Means clustering, performing analyses on model results and general business / advertising questions, and presenting findings to leadership. This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual manages data science processes, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver on client objectives.
Responsibilities
Independently develop complex SQL queries to build data sets for analyses
Build advanced ML models (Classification, Continuous, Clustering etc) to help run optimized media campaigns
Develop data science workflows to build ML models
Perform deep-dive analyses to analyze trends in data and generate insights
Provide summarized, concise and clear findings and recommendations regularly to leadership
Work collaboratively with other team members on projects
Qualifications
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark
Highly skilled in machine learning, data modeling, and statistical analysis
B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Data Science
3+ years of experience preferred in Data Science
Background in digital media preferred
Self-starter who is quick to learn and eager to contribute
Experience in leading data science workstreams and leveraging audience data to make strategic decisions
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

Compensation Range: $87,210 - $113,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
