The Human Resources Manager plans, direct and coordinates Human Resource management activities of an organization to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, employee retention, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational goals and drive business success.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of HR services throughout the organization.
Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, ensuring efficient and effective HR operations at the plant level.
Manage labor and employee relations, working closely with the legal team to resolve issues and maintain compliance.
Maintain strong knowledge of U.S. HR laws and regulations, ensuring the site aligns with legal requirements.
Lead succession planning efforts, partnering with managers to develop future leaders.
Advise and educate managers on HR policies and compliance matters, including equal employment opportunity and workplace conduct, recommending policy updates as needed.
Analyze HR KPIs, HR processes and employee feedback to develop strategies to continuously improve.
Manage personnel budgets, ensuring financial alignment with operational needs.
Foster a positive workplace culture, supporting proactive employee relations and open communication between employees and management.
Collaborate with Learning & Development (L&D) to address organizational development needs and provide customized training solutions.
Conduct benchmarking analyses and provide recommendations for hiring, promotions, transfers, and compensation planning.
Maintain a flexible schedule to be accessible to employees and address concerns as needed.
Educate employees on incentive plans, ensuring transparency and understanding of program administration.
Performance Management - Lead performance review processes, provide coaching to managers, and oversee corrective action plans, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
Safety & Workplace Compliance - Collaborate with safety teams to ensure OSHA compliance, promote workplace safety initiatives, and address worker concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
Prefer HR experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Management or related program.
Prefer HR Professional certification.
General knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel administration
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Well versed in people and supervisory skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
MS office proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SmartSheet)
Labor Law knowledge

Sit and/or stand 8 to 12 hours per day.
Daily walking as needed in a dynamic manufacturing environment that may involve varying temperatures, noise levels, and occasional congestion.
