Job Description:

Job Summary:


Provide assistance to the engineering department personnel during prototype builds and assemble components for testing. Set up and monitor testing under the supervision of Lab supervisor or designated engineering personnel. Support all Validation Engineering activities in the lab or outside.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


Ø Monitor, build, and record progress of on-going tests.

Ø Support Prototype Builds as required.

Ø Maintain Test Vehicles and Test Lab Equipment.

Ø Maintain a clean and safe working environment.



Qualifications / Training / Skill Requirements:



Required


Ø Welding, Machining, or similar skills

Ø Basic Knowledge of Heavy Duty Truck Suspensions and Similar Products

Ø Strong Mechanical Aptitude



Preferred


Ø Basic Understanding of Control Systems, Industrial Hydraulics, and Data Logging

Ø CAD Knowledge (Solidworks or similar)

Ø Commercial Driver's License, or ability to get one.


Education Requirements:


Ø High school, GED or equivalent

Ø 2 yr technical degree in Heavy Duty Truck Repair, Diesel Mechanics, or Automotive Technology preferred.


Physical Demands:


Ø Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
