Our Plant Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the Likwifier division, including safety, quality, cost and on-time delivery. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and trusted partner. They must be committed to serving others and able to lead teams, learning and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide direction to Plant leadership team to develop processes ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery continue to remain the highest daily priorities.
Develop continuous improvement process to drive further efficiency in the operation, reducing costs and eliminating waste.
Partner with Purchasing Manager to develop sourcing plan to reduce costs.
Further develop daily production performance metrics and reporting / analysis process.
Work directly with HR to develop new hire training / onboarding plan.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies.
Submit Capital Expenditure justification and requests.
Ensure plant meets or exceeds budgeted profit targets.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
College degree preferred.
Continuous improvement experience preferred.
Project management experience preferred.
Specialized Knowledge and Experience
Minimum of five years in a manufacturing environment with three in a management role.
P&L responsibility
Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and processes.
Experience in a low volume, complex manufacturing environment.
Experience in metal fabrication and/or machine shop.
Other Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to use ERP systems and Microsoft Office efficiently to accomplish tasks.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, solve problems and make decisions.
Capable of transitioning tasks quickly as business needs require.

Travel
Travel will be required to Ensight locations and customer locations, as needed.
