Job Description:

Job Title: Quality & Curriculum Facilitator

Reports to: Operations Manager

Position Classification: Non-Exempt

Office Location: Montgomery

Wage: $16.00 to $18.70


Primary Objectives of Position: Monitors contractual quality obligations of the youth program and provides

educational assistance for Penn Foster High School students including instruction, tutoring, and teaching

curriculum for the High school diploma program.


Essential Job Functions:

• Possible recruitment activities to enhance participation in program(s).

• Provide and Interpret TABE Assessments or additional assessments as needed to the

participants.

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans for Penn Foster High School Diploma Program and

instructional materials that facilitate active learning.

• Observe and monitor participants’ progress in Penn Foster High School program to develop

curriculum to meet goals and instructional activities

• Create and Administer job skills workshop for eligible participants as needed

• Review programmatic files to ensure quality is being followed.

• Follows established case management and allied program procedures for orientations.

• Weekly and Monthly reporting.

• Prepares accurate, timely, and appropriate case notes.

• Maintains customer contacts according to program policy.

• Accomplishes data entry and related activities correctly and within acceptable time limits.

Extreme Customer Service: Utilize Extreme Customer Service behaviors in all interactions

with internal and external customers.

Other Job Duties: Other duties and special projects as needed to meet overall company

Physical Demands/Work Environment: Physical requirements include carrying/lifting up to

5 pounds, frequently; up to 10 pounds, regularly; and up to 25 pounds, occasionally. Visual

acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to

drive an automobile and operate computer keyboard and basic office equipment; subject to

carrying, lifting, twisting, and reaching to perform essential job functions. Working conditions

are primarily in an office environment with occasional travel to other locations.

communication proficiency, teamwork orientation, technical capacity

Qualifications:

Required Competencies:

• Knowledge of administrative and business processes, programmatic and operational controls,

and personnel management

• Ability to engage students with learning materials

• Attention to detail

• Ability to accurately review documentation.

• Ability to interact with individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds

• Experience in using Management Information System (MIS)-reporting systems

• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and public speaking skills

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Products

Experience: Three years relevant work experience. Familiarity with applicable federal, state

and local laws and regulations required. Prefer knowledge of Workforce Innovation and

Opportunity Act.

Skills/Abilities: Ability to present exceptionally well in a group setting, Knowledge of customer

requirements for all funding streams preferred. Ability to produce organizational strategies

and plans to meet training and development needs, manage training delivery and measure

outcomes as necessary. Fluency in organizing training venues, logistics and

accommodations. Must be able to work in multiple media for training delivery, keep current

training methodologies and coordinate with internal and external training providers.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ability to work independently and in group settings with

minimal supervision and excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.

Additional Requirements: Must have valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance

coverage.
