Days: Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm; Swing: Mon-Fri 2:00pm to 10:30pm; Weekends: Fri-Sun 8am to 8pm

THIS POSITION IS FOR SWING SHIFT - 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. M/F

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible performing precision mechanical inspection of machined parts and incoming materials to verify compliance to specification.

• Basic blueprint reading & shop math (Trigonometry)


• Inspect first off parts from manufacturing work centers


• Collect measurement data for use in First Article Inspection (FAI) reports


• Collect and provide data required for critical part Final Inspection Reports (FIRs)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5years' experience performing in-process and final inspection preferably in a machining, automotive or aerospace business


• Thorough knowledge of GD&T


• CMM operation required


• Ability to correctly use and interpret basic measuring tools including weight gauge, micrometer, caliper scale (linear), gauge blocks, thread gauges, and comparative standards
