Days: Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm; Swing: Mon-Fri 2:00pm to 10:30pm; Weekends: Fri-Sun 8am to 8pm

THIS POSITION IS FOR WEEKEND SHIFT - Friday thru Sunday, 12 hours shifts - 4:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The CNC Vertical Mill Machinist I is responsible for setting up and running repeat or proven part(s) with simple to intermediate complexity with direction from the area Lead or Supervisor.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

As a CNC Vertical Mill Machinist I, you will set-up and run repeat or proven part(s) with simple to intermediate complexity with direction from area Lead or Supervisor.

• Responsible for utilizing shop paper procedure including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance related activities


• Read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications


• Provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to operators and lower-level machinists as required


• Ensure an accurate router accompanies all work orders


• Able to recognize machine deviation versus cutter or work holding problems and alerts lead or supervisor.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years' work experience


• Basic knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of blueprint reading, GD & T


• Basic knowledge of accepted inspection practices

• Ability to read blueprints to ensure accuracy in part making
