Project Responsibilities: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that personnel, equipment and other necessary resources are effectively utilized to perform the necessary P&A operations for our client in a safe manner while adhering to our service quality standards. Duties relative to the project will include but not limited to;
Main interface for the client regarding planned operations, procedures, equipment selection and project readiness in coordination with BSEE and other regulatory requirements.
Daily interface with the Lead Wellsite Supervisor during ongoing operations regarding project timeline, performance, personnel and equipment needs, upcoming activities and diagnostic support.
Receive the daily report from offshore and ensure accurate information is inputted and correct.
Ensure that any technical / Non Productive Time (NPT) events are entered into Weatherford's Performance Tracking System and are investigated and resolved.
Track NPT and ensure that thresholds fall within the contractually agreed limits and that any NPT events that incur monetary credits are processed.
Ensure that Weatherford employees training is up-to-date and records are uploaded into the National Compliance Management Service System.
Manage and organize crew changes.
Ensure that project timelines are maintained and when necessary, involve client and senior management when changes become necessary.
Ensure that end of well reports are compiled and pertinent operation data captured to enable review and improvement.
Ensure that lessons learned / opportunities for improvements are captured, tracked using Weatherford's Performance Tracking System, and implemented.
Conduct regular platform visits to meet with offshore employees and Operator management.
Oversee invoicing processes relating to the project and ensuring that all supporting documentation is available to back up said invoice.
Ensure that the contract is being adhered to and that pricing is correct and accurate.
Ensure that Weatherford employees are competent and trained as per Industry, Weatherford and Operator's standards.
Conduct weekly pre-hitch meetings with outgoing crew members to review progress and any safety issues pertinent to operations.
Work with Operations Coordinator to ensure billing documentation is complete and accurate.
Requirements
Minimum of 7+ years of relevant work experience in operations within the Oil & Energy industry
Comprehensive understanding of the Product Line and technical job planning requirements
Proven ability to manage, develop, and coach teams across organizational boundaries
Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, negotiating, influencing, and planning skills
Ability to work in high-pressure situations, balancing both client and business expectations
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix organization
Strong organizational and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Intermediate knowledge of JDE, Hyperion, TapRoot, PeopleSoft, Salesforce systems, and FieldFX (where applicable) preferred
