SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified OHIO/SEAWOLF Electrical/Systems Engineer.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP is currently seeking a Senior Electrical or Systems Engineer to design,develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronicequipment, including broadcast and communications systems, electric motors,machinery controls, lighting, and wiring in buildings, automobiles, aircraft,radar and navigation systems, and transmission devices used by electricutilities. Electrical and electronics engineers work closely withcomputer and specialize in different areas such as powergeneration, transmission, distribution, communications, and electricalequipment manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Evaluate proposed modifications (source of modifications include the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) Baseline Change Request (BCR) process and the Program Acquisition Resource Manager (PARM) Change Proposal/Engineering Change (CP/EC)) to the SSBN and SSGN NPES baselines.
Generate/update associated alteration and fleet documents including System Engineering Changes (EC), Ship Systems Manuals (SSM) and other system level documents.
Performassessment and analysis of CM/ILS impacts in the comment review cycle forCommand and Control System (CCS), Non-Propulsion Electronics System (NPES) Subsystem Engineering Changes (EC), Engineering Change Instructions(ECI), Software Updates (SU), Non-Tactical Software Updates (SU), TemporaryEngineering Changes (TEC) for OHIO Class Submarines.
Interactionwith PARM during team and one on one discussions for comment review meetingsand providing status of products.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in engineering discipline.
Experience: 10 years of experience.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Subject Matter Expert (SME) level knowledge of theOHIO Class (SSBN/SSGN) Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, andalteration process as documented in the OHIO Class (SSBN/SSGN) Command andControl System (CCS) and Non-Propulsion Electronic System (NPES) ModificationStandard Operation Procedure (MOD SOP) and OHIO Class (SSBN/SSGN) Command andControl System (CCS) and Non-Propulsion Electronic System (NPES) ConfigurationManagement Plan.
Understanding andapplication of CCS/NPES system documentation such as the System Specificationfor Modernization of the TRIDENT Submarine OHIO Class Command and ControlSystem Functional & Allocated Requirements, System-Level andSubsystem-Level SSMs, and Subsystem Technical Manuals, etc.
Understanding ofelectrical and systems engineering principles.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
