Job Summary



Beacon Hill Technologies is in search of Project Managers to support a significant government services client. This position requires onsite presence 3 days a week in New London County. The Project Manager will operate within a PMO, working on either software development and ERP modernization or Infrastructure projects, which include updating outdated applications, improving features, and implementing new functionalities. The role will involve a mix of Agile and Waterfall approaches. Responsibilities include ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to the defined scope, while managing scope creep. The Project Manager will oversee both new and ongoing projects, develop comprehensive project plans, and outline scope, timelines, risks, and budgets. They will also monitor project progress and report updates to leadership.



Experience:

1. Over five years of experience as a Project Manager specializing in software development and/or infrastructure initiatives.


2. Proven track record of managing more than five projects simultaneously within a PMO setting. Solid understanding of enterprise IT principles.


3. Skilled in collaborating with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and managing vendor relationships.


4. Proficient in utilizing Project Management tools such as MS Project and Excel.


5. Experienced in operating within a hybrid Agile and Waterfall framework.


6. Excellent communication abilities and adept at multitasking.

Nice to Have Additional Skills:
