Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) System Architect job in San Jose, California is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space & Defense company! Responsibilities:
Identifies and captures new business opportunities in the international and domestic Signals Intelligence marketplace, with emphasis on Satellite Communications, Communications Intelligence, Direction Finding Systems.
Initiates and leads internal research and development supporting multiple programs
Establishes and maintains frequent Intelligence Community and Defense customer contacts in the international and domestic SIGINT, COMINT, DF, and EW marketplace
Collaborates with customers to develop system Concept of Operations (CONOPS), architectures, and requirements for SIGINT, COMINT/DF, and EW systems
Work closely with business area technical and management team to align business area strategy, capabilities, investments, and offerings within these markets
Perform competitor analyses and develop teaming relationships as needed
Work closely with Export Compliance to obtain export licenses for business pursuits in the international marketplace
Qualifications:
U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or STEM 10+ years of experience, or Master's degree and 8+ years of experience
Knowledge of direction-finding systems, arrays, algorithms and their performance characteristics, RF signal processing system designs
System modeling, simulation, and algorithm development
Experience analyzing and characterizing SATCOM signals
Collection and analysis of communication signals in L, C, and K spectrums
Detailed understanding of the SIGINT, COMINT/DF and EW marketplace including major customers and industry competitors
Performance evaluation of signal processing solutions
Understanding of DSP software development
Experience developing testing criteria and execute validation of designs
Proficient in signal processing algorithm development in MATLAB or Python
Ability to travel worldwide, up to 20%
