General Description
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational analysis and reporting related to the bank's wealth management programs. The Sr. BA will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, support the development and optimization of incentive programs, and support middle and senior management decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and monitor operational reporting related to wealth management programs, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Generate and continuously maintain the wealth management programs’ performance results and incentives
Collect and analyze performance metrics related to incentive programs, providing insights and recommendations to enhance program effectiveness
Identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
Conduct analysis to understand wealth management program financial performance and areas of opportunity
Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards, providing insights and recommendations to management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including branch operations, IT, risk management, and compliance as needed
Collaborate with project teams to support the implementation of system enhancements and process automation
Research and resolve Business Unit(s) inquiries for the Wealth Management Division.
Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices within the team
Identify and mitigate operational risks, and recommend controls and procedures to minimize risk exposure
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate operational performance, findings, and recommendations to senior management

Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or other related field.
Experience
3+ years as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
Certifications / Licenses
Business Analyst CertificationPMPMicrosoft Certified Professional (MCP)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA's)
Strong knowledge of retail banking operations and processes
Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within specified timelines
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels of the organization
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a focus on accuracy and quality
Advanced in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, SAS Enterprise Guide, Cognos) and proficiency with business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to drive operational excellence
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Strong oral and wrtiten communication: (Spanish and English)
