Job Description:

Vancouver Clinic has a rare opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Quality Coordinator. In this role you will support, and coordinate the Quality Management Program. Maintain tracking and trending of events related to clinical care to include peer review. Participate in investigations, incident management and to include the generating of needed reporting. Ideal candidate will have experience investigating and/or analyzing patient safety issues. New hires generally start between $87,600-$109,400 per year and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00a-5:00p with the possibility of hybrid/off-site work.

Requirements:


  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred.

  • Active, unencumbered Washington or Multi-State RN license required. ( required to have active Washington RN license within 60 days of hire or transfer if using multi-state licensure )

  • Minimum two years of (licensed) RN experience required.

  • RN with two (2) years medical claims experience and/or risk management / quality improvement principles in a healthcare setting preferred.

  • Working knowledge of medical / legal process, professional liability insurance, claims administration, patient safety principles, and regulatory compliance.

  • Previous patient safety / quality improvement experience and/or medical record abstraction, evaluation, and analysis of data from a clinical perspective helpful.


Additional details: Clinical Nurse Quality Coordinator has the potential for hybrid/off-site work after successful completion of full-time, on-site training and meeting the requirements for working off-site. This requires an employee to live in the local Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR area and have a secure home network with minimum upload (5 mbps) and download speeds (25 mbps).

Pay Range:
$83,795.00 - $125,692.00

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
