SUMMARY:

As a Sales & Trade Planning Analyst at Cacique Foods, the key areas of responsibility are to optimize trade, pricing, promotions, and product mix planning through the development of analytics, reporting, and the linkage between performance trends and annual trade planning strategies. This role will work collaboratively with a cross functional team, demonstrating thought leadership in shaping insights and recommendations to strengthen the successful execution of the company's brand growth and profitability strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Facilitate planning and implementation of pricing and trade programming across all product lines, brand, and channels of distribution.

  • Perform program reviews to evaluate metrics, analyze trade promotions, and ensure spend and volume are properly captured in the Trade Promotion Management system

  • Manage promotional budgets, forecast trade spend, and evaluate the effectiveness of trade activities, reviewing and approving promotional plans or deal by sales team

  • Maintain and operate databases, software, and systems for managing trade promotions and ensure fact-based driven decisions

  • Collaborate with the sales team and advise on proposed customer plans

  • Exercises an analytical, detail-oriented mindset to produce reports on industry trends, highlighting competition, and modeling spend and profitability opportunities

  • Effective communication skills to clearly articulate and inform marketing, sales, logistics, and finance with impactful insights that motivate decisions against trade promotions

  • Collaborate with logistics, sales, marketing, and demand planning teams to capture, assess, and communicate sales data, shipments to ensure volume targets are on track

  • Leverages the systems, syndicated data sources such as Nielsen or IRI to gather and facilitate industry data against company performance


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, sales analysis, or a related field within the CPG industry

  • Demonstrate a proven ability to create dashboards, pivot tables, summarizing data through reports, modeling, forecasting, or analysis in excel

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise managing, troubleshooting, and operating a TPM system

  • Previous involvement in project management and cross-functional team collaboration
