SENIOR BI ANALYST I


Located onsite at Rocket Lab's Albuquerque, NM facility, the Senior BI Analyst will play a pivotal role in developing business intelligence solutions, including Power BI reports, ETL processes, and supporting ERP and MES systems. This position demands a deep understanding of data analytics, system integration, and enterprise solutions to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.


WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:

  • Create and manage advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to address business needs, ensuring effective delivery methods, reusability, scheduling, and ad-hoc reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Create and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from PLM, ERP and MES systems to external applications and vice versa
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Devise and execute a data engineering strategy for the business and educate executive leadership on the benefits of data engineering and Support data governance initiatives
  • Convert customer requirements into meaningful datasets using a wide range data transformation techniques and tools keeping scalability in mind

YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of working experience as a BI Analyst and a bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience (9+ total years of experience)
  • 5+ Years of Power BI experience with DAX and Power Query
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing business practices.
  • Knowledge of advanced SQL (particularly T-SQL), SSIS etc
  • Experience generating data visualizations with platforms like Power BI, familiar with version control tools like GIT

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Outstanding interpersonal, teamwork, communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good experience with PLM, ERP, MES applications (e.g. Infor Syteline, Factory track , LN, Teamcenter PLM)
  • Professional level certifications in Power BI, Microsoft SQL server
  • Experience in an agile software development environment and with DevOps methodology
  • Experience with Power BI administration, data warehouse design and data lake organization, developing or using API's,
  • Familiar with CMMC data governance
