Position Overview



Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a motivated Junior Staff Accountant to join their team in Sebastian, FL. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and develop skills in accounting and finance. The selected candidate will be part of a collaborative team with strong management guidance and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).


• Performing general ledger accounting tasks.


• Conducting bank reconciliations.


• Tracking accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).


• Preparing and presenting financial reports.


• Assisting in the preparation of monthly accounting financials.


• Processing prepaid expenses.


• Conducting account reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar field of study.


• Proficiency in Excel.


• Ability to be proactive in tasks and responsibilities.


• Capacity to work independently and efficiently.

Required Work Hours



The position requires a commitment from Monday to Friday, during standard business hours.

Benefits



The role offers a competitive salary range with a maximum pay of $72,000 and a minimum pay of $55,000 per year.
