BANKRUPTCY PARALEGAL




Southfield, MI | On-Site | Full-Time



A fast-paced legal team is seeking a detail-oriented Bankruptcy Paralegal to assist attorneys throughout all stages of creditor-based bankruptcy cases. Ideal candidates are proactive, highly organized, and capable of handling high volumes of standard filings under strict deadlines.



BANKRUPTCY PARARLEGAL RESPONSIBILITIES



• Prepare bankruptcy filings, petitions, schedules, and financial disclosures


• Maintain and organize electronic/physical case files


• Track deadlines and coordinate calendars


• Review financial records and contracts for analysis and reporting


• Draft pleadings, correspondence, and court documents


• Communicate with clients, creditors, and court personnel


• Provide hearing/trial support as needed



BANKRUPTCY PARARLEGAL REQUIREMENTS



• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience (certification preferred)


• 5+ years of bankruptcy paralegal experience


• Skilled in PACER, CLS, and Microsoft Office


• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
