Our client is looking to hire on a Tool/Die Maker to join their growing team. This will be a direct-hire opportunity, and hours will be 3pm-11:30pm.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Determines the order of operations, fabrication, assembly, and layout for various tools and dies based on tool drawings, written instructions, and verbal guidance.
Prepares and operates tool and die-making machinery, including grinders.
Reviews blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to develop a step-by-step plan for manufacturing tools, dies, or assemblies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of combined technical education and hands-on experience.
Strong knowledge of tool and die manufacturing processes.
Experience working in a fitting or manufacturing environment.
Ability to interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
Familiarity with industry quality standards and procedures.
High school diploma or GED required.
Skilled in setting up and operating various tool room machines.
