Ledgent is partnering with a firm located in the Denver Tech Center on a long-term contract opportunity for a Billing Specialist. This role will be responsible for managing the billing process, handling credit rebills, and accurately applying remittances to invoices. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to problem-solve and collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Process billing transactions using accounting software.
Manage credit rebills and ensure accurate application of remittances to invoices.
Communicate with account management and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
Reach out to clients regarding billing issues, outstanding payments, or missing documentation.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company billing policies.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in the billing process.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related field.
Proficiency with accounting software systems.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams and clients.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to problem-solve and handle billing discrepancies with a solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
