Position Overview


This is a paid intern position involving the safe and efficient diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile equipment including, bulldozers, loaders, haul trucks, excavators and other quarry equipment. This internship is hosted at mutplie locations including the Rochester region and Sourthern Tier, Hornell NY. this internship pays $20 per hour.



Responsibilities

• Ability to learn and train for all aspects of the position.
• Repair damaged or worn parts..
• Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Internship candidate - college student enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited mechanic program.
• Must be 18 or older.
