SUMMARY:
The function of this Food Safety Quality Assurance Administrator includes a variety of clerical tasks:
Data Entry: Enter daily audit information into a summary for review.
Mail Distribution: Distribute mail to the appropriate departments.
Record Maintenance: Maintain a foreign object tracking log and track HACCP and SSOP monitoring deficiencies.
Communication: Answer phone calls, take messages, and assist with special projects.
Audit Management: Maintain daily audit packets and records retention, and manage paperwork destruction logs as per Tyson policy.
Paperwork Organization: Organize and fulfill daily paperwork from both shifts.
Meeting Summaries: Enter summaries from meeting minutes.
Quality Reporting: Enter claim information into a Quality Action Report database and plant view for tracking and trending.
Data Review: Review Plant View data entry for completeness of checks, data verification, calibration logs, observation verification, and pre-shipments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Some post-secondary education in general office and clerical skills preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year administrative clerical experience.
Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office are essential.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal written English communication skills.
Special Skills: Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ability to multi-task prioritize tasks and possess extensive organizational skills are necessary in this position.
