Position type: FULLTIME
Duration: Permanent
Location: Hybrid, 1 day per week, Clearwater Florida

As an Network Engineer you will:

Hybrid 1+ day in office- Cisco Meraki is the networking technology

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for implementation, installation, and configuration for new and existing network components in our On-prem and Cloud hosting facilities. In addition, providing design and planning for incorporating new network technologies according to industry best practices, as well as documentation and support for these technologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and connectivity, including network switches, routers, wireless access points and firewalls, as appropriate

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network hardware, connectivity, and firmware/software, as appropriate

  • Work with Cloud and SaaS providers and Cloud Support team to provision, manage and support network connectivity.

  • Work with vendors and company leadership to plan and implement new network technologies to insure the company's business systems are secure

  • Plan for and coordinate network growth

  • Provide high-level (tier 3) user support via a variety of methods and provide technical expertise to users by verbal and/or written means

  • Provide on-call support for network systems as necessary

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field required OR equivalent experience (degree preferred)

  • 4 - 7 years' experience in the MIS or Information Technology field, including at least 3 years in a network engineering role or equivalent, including proven experience managing a multi-site, multi-provider, heterogeneous network

  • Demonstrated proficiency documenting network architecture, topology, and configurations

  • Recent experience with Cisco routing, switching, and security technologies

  • Foundational understanding of telephony concepts such as PBX and VoIP

  • Hands on experience with SDN and SD-WAN

  • Certifications such as MCSE / CCNP / CCIE / AZ-700 are preferred

  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties

Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
The ideal candidate will have: 7 + years of experience

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range $120,000 annually
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
