UC Riverside's Auxiliary Services is recruiting for the Learning and Development Trainer. The full salary range for the Learning and Development Trainer is $66,500 - $118,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $79,450 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.*Finalists will be asked to provide a presentation as part of the selection process.*Note that this is an in-person, on-campus position; remote work is not available.The Learning and Development Trainer designs, delivers, and manages training and development activities for the departments of Auxiliary Services. The Trainer applies expertise to determine how to best apply adult learning theories and education methodologies to develop and implement new programs and initiatives that address and resolve a wide range of issues, conducts need assessments, creates learning activities, develops learning tools and job aids, and works on complex programs of diverse scope in response to needs. Works closely with the APPS Employment Coordinator and collaboratively with others in a diverse work environment and at all levels of the organization. Conducts evaluations and develops recommendations that are in alignment with the department's strategic plan. Consults with management, staff, human resources partners, and other instructors to determine effective methods for delivery of training and use of technology. Supervises departmental training instructors (student employees); provides leadership, guidance, and continued support to improve teaching and learning outcomes. Tracks University-mandated course completion and regularly reports out on upcoming and overdue training deadlines. Provides other, administrative and operational support to Auxiliary Services departments, as needed. Maintains a training calendar and database.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position.
