The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic financial analysis to support business growth and operational efficiency. This role requires expert-level Excel modeling skills and proficiency in business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting tools to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with business units to develop accurate financial projections.
Perform detailed variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance.
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, including cost analysis, pricing strategies, and capital investment decisions.
Provide in-depth scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential business impacts.
Reporting & Data Visualization:
Leverage business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to create dynamic financial reports and dashboards.
Prepare and present insightful financial reports to senior leadership, ensuring clarity and transparency in financial performance.
Design automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial data management.
Operational & Strategic Support:
Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.) to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Conduct profitability analysis, cost optimization studies, and operational efficiency assessments.
Support executive decision-making through ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting within a manufacturing or international business environment.
Expert-level Excel skills, including advanced modeling, Power Query, VBA, and scenario analysis.
Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Experience with data visualization and reporting automation to drive real-time insights.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in cost accounting and manufacturing finance.
Knowledge of SQL or Python for advanced data analysis.
Experience working in a multi-currency, international business environment.
Experience with OneStream for financial planning and reporting.
