Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary:
As a Financial Analyst, you will be a key player in monitoring project budgets, reporting, and collaborating closely with the Controller, CFO, and Plant Manager to drive financial success. You will also be responsible for implementing new financial processes and reporting mechanisms to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and analyze financial performance to ensure projects are on budget and within scope
Prepare and review regular financial reports related to project performance, working closely with the Controller and CFO to ensure accurate reporting and financial health
Collaborate with the Plant Manager to understand operational needs, track costs and ensure alignment with financial goals and budgetary constraints
Provide oversight and mentoring to Accounts Payable staff and update offsite Controller
Research, recommend, implement and optimize new financial processes and reporting systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall financial performance
Analyze financial data and trends to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Conduct variance analysis between actual financial performance and budgeted projections, offering actionable insights
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and other key financial metrics to ensure financial health
Assist with the development of financial strategies and business plans to improve profitability and operational efficiency
Help manage financial compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations and corporate SOPs
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for special projects and strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Five (5) + years of financial analysis with some supervisory and/or mentoring experience
Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with both financial and operational teams
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Adept with all GAAP and financial regulations and best practices
Strong proficiency in MS Excel with Netsuite and Concur preferred but not required
