RATE RANGE: $45/hr - $53/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)
CLEARANCE: Secret, obtainable within reasonable time based on requirements
LOCATION: Onsite inManassas VA 20110
DURATION: 12+ months or contract to hire
SCHEDULE: 9/80 (every other Friday off)

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a Systems Engineer, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the system engineering and functional design of the system under development, addressing topics such as payload integration, weapon launch interlocks, weapon simulation, message exchanges, user interfaces, and cybersecurity. As a member of the system engineering team, the candidate will help ensure functional and technical specifications and standards are complete and accurate, delivered as required to support customer review and approval, to support system development and test.
REQUIREMENTS
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
B.S or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree
Experience with the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) or related systems
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with computer system architectures, cybersecurity, Linux or embedded operating systems
Agile experience preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIRED
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
