Mechanical Engineer in the Defense and Aerospace industry, playing a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for various defense and aerospace applications.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Previous experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry. Knowledge of defense and aerospace regulations, standards, and systems is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD) and other engineering analysis tools. Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
Experience in design of RF enclosures and chip and wire processes.
Create innovative and efficient mechanical designs for defense and aerospace systems, including components, subsystems, and overall systems, using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, structural engineers, and systems engineers, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into larger defense and aerospace platforms.
Conduct comprehensive analysis and simulations to assess mechanical system performance, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, fluid dynamics, and vibration analysis.
Plan and execute tests to evaluate the functionality, reliability, and durability of mechanical components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications for defense and aerospace applications. Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
