Job Description:
Manufacturing Engineer ($30 - 50 p.hr)
We have multiple openings available for Manufacturing Engineers to work at our global manufacturing client in Skaneateles, NY.
These are 1st shift positions with contract durations of 12+ months with potential extension.

Duties:
- Support up to 8 medical device assembly lines as part of a cross-functional Electronics "Gemba" Team.
- Execute process & equipment validation/verification for new or evolving manufacturing processes.
- Update procedures, drawings, and manufacturing process documentation (e.g., specs, tool/equipment maintenance).
- Use Lean/Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cost.
- Perform root-cause analysis for non-conforming materials and develop corrective actions.
- Work with R&D, Sustaining, and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering to enhance product manufacturability.
Must Have Skills:
- Validation & Verification experience.
- Procedure & Drawing Updates.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated environments.
- Knowledge of GD&T, SAP, CAD modeling, electrical design.
- Exposure to computer-based automated testing.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred (not required).
- 0-2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering role.
- Must be eligible to work in the US without restriction indefinitely.
