This key position is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. The role requires a blend of technical and managerial skills to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all project tasks from initial planning to project completion, including financial closeout.
Ensure projects are delivered within the allocated budget and timelines, using strong analytical and financial skills.
Serve as the primary liaison between the project team, clients, and external vendors.
Implement project plans using project management software; experience with NetSuite or similar tools is a plus.
Monitor project progress, adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines.
Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, with a focus on clear communication both written and verbal.
Manage project resources, including manpower and material allocation.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, or a related field.
2-3 years of project management experience or a strong academic background with a passion for project management.
Demonstrated ambition and drive to succeed in the project management field.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management software.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Construction or mechanical engineering background, preferably with direct experience in mechanical construction, industrial services, or a related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Six Sigma or Lean certifications for process improvement projects.
Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Jira).
Technical knowledge of hydronic heating and cooling systems and components.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
