Pikemann is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing/Buyer to oversee sourcing, procurement, and supplier management. This role focuses on ensuring cost-effective, high-quality, and timely delivery of materials, components, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain customer and industry quality standards (AS9100).
Implement cost reduction policies and maintain supplier/vendor relationships.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing) to meet organizational needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
5+ years in purchasing or related technical fields.
Strong knowledge of purchasing methods, techniques, and MRP/ERP systems.
Aerospace experience preferred.
APICS certification in Basics of Supply Chain Management is a plus.
