This position is responsible for promoting Continuous Improvement culture and leading Continuous Improvement initiatives. Specifically, this position is tasked to maintain Continuous Improvement programs, identifying process improvement and cost savings opportunities, managing the implementation of their solutions, measuring the effectiveness of Continuous Improvement initiatives, and assisting with Continuous Improvement events.

Responsibilities & Duties
Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools and principles to problem solve delivering efficiencies and cost savings while promoting Quality and Safety.
Lead improvement projects, coordinate with other functions (e.g. Engineering, Facilities, Procurement, Production) to ensure successful project completion for the Site.
Drive Continuous Improvement Culture through the Visual board system and Gemba walk methodology implemented on site, Including training, awareness, execution, metrics, and oversight/confirmation of implementation and effectiveness.
Provide Lean Six Sigma coaching and support to site including Yellow Belts, Green Belts and Support Specialist.
Responsible for the Site 6s program, including training, awareness, execution, metrics, and oversight/confirmation of implementation and effectiveness.
Identify opportunities to develop self in terms of knowledge and understanding of Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques and developments.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Industrial Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of five years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of three years' experience in implementing Lean/Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment, with at least three kaizen or improvement events completed per year.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry is desired.
Black Belt certification in Lean/Six Sigma or at least trained.

Strong knowledge of spreadsheet (Excel), word processing, presentation software and ERP applications.
